Under the framework NITROS (Network for Innovative Training on Rotorcraft Safety), a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Joint European Doctorate on Rotorcraft Safety (https://www.nitros-ejd.org/), wind tunnel tests were conducted in 2021 in the GVPM boundary layer test section to investigate rotor-obstacle aerodynamic interaction for a helicopter approaching a frigate ship deck.
