This picture shows the aeroelastic scaled model (WTT3) of a future regional transport aircraft developed by POLIMI inside the EU project CS2-AIRGREEN2 to validate different technologies for Gust and Maneuver Loads Alleviation. A special device installed below the dummy floor the aeroelastic model is free to pitch and plunge. A 6-vanes gust generator can produce bookmark 1-cos discrete gusts as well as user-defined turbulence spectra.
