Photovoltaic (PV) systems with tracking mechanisms take significant benefits from wind tunnel tests to achieve optimal design. A new frontier is the application of PV trackers in agriculture. Politecnico di Milano wind tunnel tested the novel Convert Agri-PV tracker by Valmont Solar, also considering the aerodynamic interaction with the crops. Part of the work is carried out in the framework of the Horizon Europe SYMBIOSYST project.
