In 2022 Archer Aviation chose POLIMI wind tunnel to test its Maker eVTOL aircraft propellers in transition. The test rig available in the open test section of GVPM allowed to characterise the aerodynamic performance of full-scale eVTOL propeller during the complete transition from hover to cruise flight condition.
