The laboratory is equipped with a range of instruments for flow velocity measurements. Instrumentation is available for both mean flow velocity measurements and dynamic measurements of velocity fluctuations. Systems capable of measuring both wind speed and wind direction are also available.
Flow visualization equipment is also available. In particular, the laboratory is equipped with a high-speed camera capable of recording at sampling rates of up to 2000~Hz and with a smoke generator for flow visualization tests.
