Wind tunnel tests on a 1:70 rigid scale model, including the surrounding urban context, were conducted to measure. spatially distributed pressure time histories for a wide range of wind directions. The processed pressures data were applied to a detailed finite element model to simulate the wind-induced response in the time domain and to investigate the sensitivity of vibration levels to structural damping. Complementary wind tunnel tests on a 1:70 aeroelastic model were performed to directly capture fluid–structure interaction effects, assess aeroelastic stability, and evaluate the effectiveness of distributed damping devices.
