Nuovo polo fieristico di Milano
Define the aerodynamic wind loads on the “Logo” and “Vela”, two parts of the new exhibitions house in Milano. Measurements were performed using pressure taps to define the wind action distribution on the large roofing system. Pedestrian comfort tests were executed for different wind exposures, to verify the serviceability of the living areas. A full aeroelastic model of a part of the roofing was realized to define its dynamic behavior in turbulent wind conditions.
